Thank you Richard for your comment... yes .I was following in my 18'bowdider...... used a 50mm .. cuz I wanted to get in close. With this class.... I was able to stay close without disturbing their position.

Really good sailboat racing pictures, like this one, are hard to get. I'm not familiar with this class, but I can appreciate the difficulty of the shot.
Were you in a following power boat? You were using a 50 so you had to be close unless you cropped this one severely.
