About I finally did it - went into Jacob's and bought an IR filter.

As I live next to this graveyard I tried it in there. It's one of those that goes into a holder, not a screw in type so took some getting used to.

Had to shoot on manual at about 3 to 5 stops over the metered value for some reason... TTL metering gone wrong maybe?

Anyway - first of many I'd think, a whole new world just opened up.
