Stephan,
About two weeks after I bought mine, I put a little dent in the top of mine. (right about where the little girl's teeth are in the photo)
35 years later, that is still the only damage :)

Good picture, nicely cropped to one! I think it is the same child as in your later capture called Blue (is she your child?).

Regards Ed

Oooh yes. Window shopping at present for a comparable machinehaving had all the gear sold by some sole who needed the money somewhere...
Just bought a super takumar 50ml 1:1.4 and dreaming of an m42 threaded thing with spot metering... It'll be terrific... soon my day will come....out of the ashes of the theft...

... except this is the camera I use for all my 35 mm film adventures :-) wonder how many digital cameras made this year will still be around (and taking pictures) 30+ years from now...

The 1/3 ratio also applies to the number of ceiling shots one gets when her camera is loaded up with film ;-)

Very cool Stephan. Lucky Kid to have a hand ma down such as this.

Great shot Stefan, It's great to see she is following in her Dads footsteps. I'm loving the G5. Haven't posted much with it yet since I'm still messing with the setting ... It's allot different from the G2. Thanks again for your Input on it.
Stuart.

Oh no... a little Stefan is being born! A monster is created! hahahahha
Looks like she's having fun! You should pop some film in there and see what her creative little mind can do!
I like the framing of the images as well... the 1/3 splits it up nicely.

Thank you Eric - you are right about being close to the minimum DOF for the small sensor this camera has. The ironic part is that it is shallow enough to reveal the focusing problem (or should I say that) - that the focus appears to be on the camera and not on her eyes in the left photo :-)

Eric Peterson   {K:4419} 8/12/2004
She has good taste in equipment. Very nice look in B&W. A little shallower DOF to further blur the background might add a litttle bit, but it looks like you're pretty close to the limit with what your digital can do optically. Maybe just try a less cluttered background or move her further away from it. It's not a big thing, but I think it would improve the shot.
