Hi Patryck, these are all in High Jpeg. if i shoot raw it eats up so much hard drive space that i run out of space to quickly.....so i have to live with jpeg for now.

yeah John, it might take all 3 of us....one has to hang out the windows shooting photos @ 1600/sec ..or just go with the flow and submit allot of blurry photos under the "blurry project" of course

Tim I am familiar with the western Larch, here we have a similar tree called the tamarack which also drops the needles each fall, however not as stunning a display. the tree looks more like a lodge pole pine tall and slender, were your larch will have a larger girth I think. Pretty wood from the larch as well. well if you stumble into me you will know, a silver van with Minnesota ham radio plates on it. Thats where the first part of my email address comes from. jc

Wonderful shot Tim. I love the mist on the water. I would have been tempted to concentrate on the mist, but then I would miss the wider landscape. Great work!

hey Jim sounds good to me... I'd meet you in a heartbeat if I wasn't moving. in fact I was planning on being in the Rockies for Sept. because the Western Larch trees go vibrant Yellow around that time. It is a conifer tree who's needles turn color in the fall to great affect. I may still try to make it somehow if I get a chance.
Tim :)

Hi Den. Yes jimmy's place is just behind me. He was yelling at me to "get the hell out off my Lawn!!!!%#&$%&" He was a really ornery kind of guy. ha-ha .... it must have been his ghost. I think he's been dead for years now. LOL He's on the horse on the left

Tim I really like this image. It illustrates the old adage about f8 and BE THERE, with being there meaning being there when the light is. I honestly can't see any way to improve on this other than to pay a guy in a red fishing outfit to out there flycasting from a canoe on the right hand side. As to Jim Christensen's comment: count me in, we could finish Canada in two days and have time to cover Alaska before dinner on the third day! - Cheers JOhn B

Beautiful landscape. Makes me long for the time I lived in Alberta. Looks panoramic, so must have been cropped from original photo. Great photo!

Tim, correct me if I'm wrong. This is near Jimmy Simpson's place - Num Ti Jah Lodge. When we were there it was still covered in snow and frozen over. It really is good to see it like this. You portray it magnificently. If it is this place it's where Margaret's "Gotchya" shot my shot of her taking it were taken. Den
