Beautiful shot of the cottontail with excellent clarity. We have these fellows down here and their much larger cousins, the swamp rabbit.

As this is not our first meeting, I suggest that we switch to first names. I am Rafi and to you I'll refer as Dave. Your "Cotton Tail" is very well taken, showing a stong contrast between the green of the grass and the greyish-brown of the rabbit. Although this is not in favor of the rabbit, who loses its comouflage, it is in favor of the photo. Thank you for your comment on my "micro-grasshopper". Regards, Rafi

I've often wondered how people do this. Rabbits in my yard would be long gone before I was out the door. You didn't shoot him and stuff him, did you?
