'Nuff said. A slide seen through a powerful viewer or better still projected on a lenticular screen... Wow! Nothing beats it. But when most everything ends up on a computer screen or a print, as it does with me, well, I sadly say goodbye to that special kind of thrill--except in stereo, of course! Guess you won't be going digital any time soon!!

Thanks for the Advice Roger but nothing come close to a well exposed slide. I would never go back to negative. The feeling I get when viewing a great slide will beat any great photo..It is just not the same. Pat

I see you prefer to shoot slides. You would find negative film's much wider latitude freeing you from so much use of ND filters. I only shoot slide film for stereo pairs these days... even choosing to produce B&W from colour negative film.

Nice image Pat. Nice soft light and a good choice of exposure - I think the waves work well on this one. Did you try and longer exposure to see if the misting of the waves would add anything?

Wow... I really like this one! you created a whole universe inside the photo frame. Sky is pefect, sea is perfect, rocks are perfect, the whole is perfect.
Congratulations... you made it.
