About I was shooting this young ladies senior portrait over the weekend. She brought along her prom dress but wasn't sure she wanted to wear it. I convinced her to do something out of the ordinary with it. Hope she likes them as much as I do.

immagine super, toni, dolcezza, effetto ottico, forse un piccolissimo difetto le scarpe, avrei preferito delle scarpe nere con tacco, un saluto Davide

This is a wonderful composition. I tend to think that it is perfect as it is. Lars' approach seems to be very interesting, however, it seems to me that the overall softness stresses out the femininity of the model and the overall "mild" atmosphere.
Great work!

Thanks Lars...everyone. I agree it could use a little more contrast. My photos all seem to look a little dull after I post them. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong when I save the jpg or if it's my mac or what. I like what you've done here but her skin tones are getting a little hot...could be my monitor though...
Regards,
megan

lovely, indeed - i bet she loves it!
i tend to agree with lars: if i were you i might have tried to push the contrast a little bit, even though the soft mood of midtones creates a melancholic atmosphere that you have created with your gentle touch, which would be a pity to lose.

its awesome. Love the sense of depth created by the road. The dress is gorgeous, so is the lady! If it were mine I'd adjust the curves to give the highlights abit more spark. Maybe abit of unsharp mask (set to amount: 60%, radius: 1 px) to clarify the details on the dress, though that may ruin the soft romantic glow.. Anyway, I had a 1 minute go in PS to examplify:
