Erik, Metz is a german flash that goes with Canon cameras (C series). It does the same job as Canon flashes for.......half the price :)

I'm curious to know what the stobe experiment was.
Looks like maybe you walked around the cathedral and lit it with the strobe? Looks great however it was done.
