Good shot of a birch tree, Del. This is definitely a birch and is most probably a "Heritage River Birch." There are several varieties in the birch family. Some peel like this and other don't peel at all.

Great capture of these trees, got the texture of the bark. DOn't know what they are, they are not Silver Birch as we have them in England, but may be a variety of Birch - can't really help Margaret

Looks like "zilver berk" to me...but thats dutch. Lots of those here. They plant them with 3 together in front of houses,but after a few years they get too big and in winter loosing lots of leaves than usely people get tired of them and cut them down. lol

Oh I forget the name of them. We had a lot in California. My neighbor just called them those messy trees, but I'm sure there is a more scientific name. Dottie PS Nice Photo.

I love these trees. Maybe a white birch? But I'm not sure.
