Wow excellent shot Chris. just great color, love the feeling of the whole image. Are you shooting raw? I just started to shoot raw images but find that the color ends up being more dull once it is submitted to this site. I'm using Photoshop CS when that happens. It is the only PS that will read Nikon Raw images... It is kind of a pain to tell you the truth. It just eats up HD space so fast too.

This is about the best presentation that could be hoped for. The time of day was just right. The sky was beautiful and impressive. The hill creates a leading line into the image and directly to the monument. Well done!

Hi Chris; this is an excellent scenic/lanscape. I'm sure I couldn't improve on it. The composition with the hill starting in the lower left corner is perfect and I love the sky too.
Thanks much for your comments on my "Lonely" photo. I'm really glad you grasped the mood and essence of it. I'm sure you know by now that I love shooting the many moods of the ocean. Your comments about my location are pretty much right on too. We live in a town of 25,000 on the southern Oregon coast. It's about 120 miles to the nearest city of any size. We love the coastal climate w/ cool summers and wet mild winters. Cheers. Craig
