My dear friend Heifetz,
When you use an external flash, it is best not to use them mounted on the camera, otherwise you'll get the same flat object like those you got from your internal flash. What you ought to do is to get an extension wire and use the external flash from the side of the object, or better still, if you have a transparent ar semi-transparent object, such as a flower, to put the flash behind the object, between the object and the camera.

Thank you for teaching me that,but my camera has TTL system,I found that the light from the internal flash is not satisfactory,made object flat,may be I'll buy a external one

Thank you for your comment on my "Murano clown". As to the ring-flash, as long as you don't have TTL (Through the lens) light metering coupled to the flash, you have to use trial and error until you get the required result. This is the way I do it.
