I think this is an example of extreme "juxtaposition". We are not accustomed to roses hitching a ride on ponies. Especially, red roses, like this one. How do I know it's red? Why by the relative luminance in b+w. You can tell me I'm wrong, but I won't believe it. (Just kidding.)
