Thanks Phil, I am always amazed to view Pgh skyline at different times of the day and different directions of light. Clouds either heavy or spotty make great light filters in my book!

Larry. I cloned out the dark corner and the rope area, enhanced the levels and cropped some of the top and bottom of the photo. I didn't crop any of the sides. I have noticed since uploading it, that there is any area that I should have adjusted. Oh well, can't win them all.. LOL!! Judi

Thanks Judi, I've been comparing back and forth, trying to see what you did. Looks like you didn't crop left side hardly at all. Did you somehow add more of my sky over the dark area? I really like what you did overall, thanks!

Larry, I hope you don't mind, but I used your original image up the top and removed the disctracting areas, then tweaked the levels a bit, before cropping it to this panorama style. Judi

Yes, now that's better. I like how it is evenly balanced. You have the traffic in the foreground but low enough not to block the buildings in the centre. But what tops it off is the sky formation. I think if it had been a clear sky, it wouldn't have been as presentable, but with the cloud coverage it balances the whole image perfectly. I do like using other objects to fram an image but in the original image up the top, the slight corner of the boat top (I presume) was way to dark and distracting from the central part of the image. A follow up comment Judi, the ones I had like you would like, I deleted, sorry!! LOL The one I attached, has good left and right forground to sort of set off the rest of scene....you think?

Thanks Judi for your imput, looked at couple others i had taken also, w/o edge of boat both in upper and cabel in lower, but thought of framing like you do with tree limbs sometime etc. A different perspective. I'm going to see if I can't attach one here. :-)

Larry, it's a great shot, but, and this is only my personal opinion here, I would be inclined to remove the top left corner either by cloning or cropping. I feel it is too distracting for the area that you have tried to encapture. Judi
