The whole series is a good one Phil..you did really well on this set...my favorite would be the B&W with the fog from behind (adjusted light as we discussed last night)having the fog going up higher in the back and a bit up front although lower to have it look as if he is stepping or emerging out of the fog...with the hand visable holding the sword..

Phillip, I have to say that this one is my favorite. The lighting makes for a very dramatic mood. Like Marty said, someones in big trouble :-) The fog shot was good too, but I like the tension in the hands on this one. Great work!

Hi Mary. If I had to pick one of the two, I would have to pick the fog shot. I like how it looks in B/W. The fog shot that I displayed on Live, shows his hands in print. I do want to try it again with the fog coming in from the back side as suggested. I did try it for short time, but had trouble with it, so I reverted back to fog in the front. I also shot these in color as well and lite the fog with a red gel. I'll throw a shot up in color.
Regards,

Phillip, I like both photos, this one and the other you posted in Live. This one shows more of the power of the sword, while the other imposed more mystery (due to the fog). I liked the ideas discussed about having him emerge from the fog so that you could show both power and mystery. Which is your favorite?

Thankx for your comment. For some reason, I have a tendacy to gravitate toward split lighting on some subjects. I thought it would be appropriate for the mood I was trying to create here.
