thanks, John. I tried the cropping you mentioned and, personally, i found the photo lost much of its depth & perspective that way, although it did make the shot become much more about the rushes & details in the foreground, as you mentioned. There are always so many ways to crop a photo, with each one often creating a different focus & mood for the piece. I appreciate your feedback. I just had a look at your site & wow, you have some amazing work. I love the way you tone many of your landscapes - gives them a more old-fashioned & yet rather timeless feel. Very beautiful. And i love seeing images from NZ - what spectacular landscape you have there.

yep bloody beauty crop the horizon out and see the image jump up about two notches str8 away. Lovely... reckon next well see you floating about nude in the pond right??

Nice image Jennifer. The exposure is spot on and I like the tones. I think you could have foregone the horizon and concentrated on the rushes and the water. Nice work. Rgards John
