About collage made using a photo of Yehudi Menuhin that, sadly, i didn't take
(i think it's David Farrell's picture)
i just photographed the original in a book

a little tribute to Yehudi Menuhin, whom i admire immensely,
and who stands for everything i value
his ethereal music will forever be echoed in the heavens

Paula
Indeed you did a great thing by using usefilm to convey a very great thing that too about an artist with no parallel in another art form. Nicely done.

Just to avoid the misunderstanding ).

Cheers

The effects have turned this shot to a marvelous poetic mood. Great work indeed. Cheers.

It's just wonderful to know that a woman as young as yourself(I can only guess from your self portraits that it's early 30's) can also be so highly sophisticated and refined (which also shows in a lot of your photo work)as to be aware of the great musician Yehudi Menuhin. 12/03/1999 (the day he died in Berlin) was a dark day for the world of art.I remember when I first heard his recording(with Wilhelm Kempff) -Beethoven: violin sonatas op 24 "spring" and op 47 "Kreutzer" it was like being hit by lightning. My father was quite good with the violin and it just brought all that back(couldn't talk about it earlier). Thanks for keeping his memory alive through your beautiful Photoart-we shall all remember his great talent.MJB

I can hardly remember when he had hair. A favorite is a EMI of Bruch's G-minor with W.Susskind......from the 50's. Excellent image, Paula!

[and so ethereally handsome as a man]
