I think the softness really adds to the intmacy of this shot. Wonderful light on hair and shoulders. I agree with Michael, "beautifully understated" yet very effective.

I think it is perfect! I adore her little lips and downward gaze...the softness really makes this shot for me.

Maybe it's a little soft/grainy to be viewed up close in a small photograph, but for a picture hanging up on a wall, the softness would be a *strength* IMHO..! The pose and composition are beautifully understated..:)
