About This was taken in April. We were watching a couple of little boys playing in a fishpond at a local bird sanctuary. What we didn't hear was the Grandfather calling his grandson to come, as they were leaving. All of a sudden, Grandpa stormed onto the scene and grabbed his grandchild, dragging him away from the fun.
I had a split second to take this picture - you can see the determined grip Grandpa (wearing a fed-up expression)has on the child's hand; the wailing face of a child unwilling to leave his playground; and the new-found friend on the left with a face that registers surprise at the sudden "Grandpa Invasion".
I don't take many "people pictures" but wanted to contribute to the Henri project :-)
PS : Image is dreadfully tilted! I tried correcting the tilt, but then I lose the little boy on the left.

try tilting the images via edit/transform/distort.But first you need to In Photoshop. that way you can keep it all and still get the image at the angle you want. This is just an excellent candid photo that says so much. It is just so packed with emotional content. Superb photo!

Cheers Tim

Fantastic moment captured Linn. Split second timing to get the expression of all three in one take. Love the movement of the wailing lad as he struggles against his Granpa's grip. I can almost hear the boy on the far left saying "whoa, glad that ain't me".

The picture is well captured.. The expression on each person's face is different (anger, sadness & shock) and they all merged to produce a very expressive picture.. I envey you ;) you were able to capture this picture in the very right moment.. although, I feel sorry for the kids...

When they are having so much fun they don't even realize that someone wants them to do something else. Great capture. Sure tells the story. Don.
