Peter, this is an amazing shot! The colors are unbelievable. At first glance I thought you had photoshoped it, but then I relized that it was real. Well done on it. And thanks so much for your comment on "Beauty."

Parece ter sido com luz UV !!!
Custo a acreditar que tenha usado luz do sol e 1/10 sec...
Muito linda, de qualquer modo.

Wonderful floral capture of a hibiscus Peter. I love the composition but the colours are absolutely stunning !!
The neon blue by the stamen is incredible.
It is amazing what different lighting during the day can make something look so fabulous !
Superb photo :-)

Thanks for your comment.... This was shot at dusk... almost ran out of daylight... This was in front of the house and the sun was setting behind the house. I love shooting in the morning just at sunrise (I've got a couple of roses lit by the morning sun just coming over the fence) and at sunset. Some of my lillies are lit by the low setting evening sun....

Thanks again for the comment
Peter

Peter. We are all learning, so please don't put yourself down. I noticed your image and as I said before it jumped out at me. That in itself, should tell you that you have a talent there. Don't ever stop learning.....!!!!

Yea, I had it set to "spot" focus instead of "Center weighted" which mad the focus concentrated. I also was running out of light and time. Tomorrow it will be gone... That's why I'm still an Amateur

Thanks for your comment...

Peter, I just love the iridescent colours. The only disappointing part is the slight blur at the end of the centre stem, sorry I don't know the correct term for it. Aside from that, this picture just jumped out at me. Fantastic. Judi
