I would swap "waders" with this fisherman in a heartbeat :-) What a fabulous setting, who cares if you catch a fish or not with scenery like this around you ! Great composition Ken and the colours are just wonderful. Beautifully presented too with a nice frame.
Best wishes, Steve

Hi Ken A very good impression of a relaxed sunday morning. Beutiful colors and reflections! You've spend a lot of time in my portfolio! Thank you for al your kind comments. Coming to Teunis would have been very nice, but he is living at the opposit side of the country and I have a man and 3 children, so it's not easy to come out! Have much fun and regards Ellen

Ken, I live about 15 minutes from Schiphol. Excellent initiative! Unfortunately, I have a wedding to shoot that weekend, but meeting you at schiphol will be no problem what so ever. If you send me your flight details to hugo@dewolf.com, I'll pick you up...
Cheers,
Hugo

Dear Hugo,
I am not sure where you live.
I am visiting Teunis on Sep 17,18 th. Teunis is taking me on a tour for the Windmills in his area. Any chance of meeting you. I will be delighted to meet you in person if possible. May be you could join us. if so you can talk to Teunis whether its ok for you to join. If you can not join, how about meetingin the airport. I arrive at Amsterdam on Friday night at 8pm. Then I might hire a car and drive to Groningen or might stay in Amestedam and travel next day to Teunis. I will be back in Amsterdam on Sunday return flight at 6pm. I can come early from Teunis's place to Amsterdam.
If you can't make it, Never mind. May be some other time.
Regards, ken.

Hi Ken, Nice, tranquil scene. This shot also reminds me of a Queens' Lazing on a sunday afternoon. I think we can keep this up all day, so I won't go into that any more...;o)
Very nice shot, and basically, the only thing I planned to comment on is the composition. I'm not sure if it's possible, but I think if you could've taken a few more steps to the right, you could keep the same (type of ) composition, but placing the fisherman a bit more off centered in the process. That would make the image a bit more static. The bright blue reflection in the water is excellent, especially in combinations with the darker tones of the reflections of the trees. Good job!
Cheers,
Hugo
