I have several of these plants from the neighbor's yards to down town and they all seem to have different shades of colors. Also these were shot in late evening and the lighting has an effect. They were shot at the same time as the yellow Hidiscus. I usually don't change the color.

Thanks for your comments
Peter

Hi Peter, very nice indeed those flowers. I love the composition of this shot, especially the ditribution of the flowers in the frame and the wonderful DOF, separating the flowers from the background. Well done. What about the color, I remember those flowers pale blue this have a rose tint, different variety or did you play with the color?
Thanks for your kind words to my picture! Regards
Jorg

Nice colours and detail, Peter. I like your DOF, with some in focus and some not.
Dave.

Nice texture in the petals with the great lighting. Maybe add a bit of contrast to the black and white. Nicely done. Don.

Peter. A lovely composition. I think I like the black and white version best too. Larry

Hmmmm....I like both color and your black and white version. I think I might like the black and white better. It's very pretty and really accentuates the nice lines in the image. Nice.

This shot maintained the texture and tones of the pedals. It probably makes a good black-and-white. I like the background, too.
