About Stopped on the way home at a wayside rest to look at the flower garden, Very rough shape this time of year.
However, after shooting some spider webs, I saw this little fellow and he let me take his picture. This model is about 1 inch long. Shot the Powershot pro1 in Supermacro mode hand held against the blue Minnesota sky. He could have bolted at any moment hence I placed this image in the Decisive Moment Catagory.

Excellent capture Jim, WOW the Powershot Pro really knows how to capture detail in super macro mode !!
The colours are fabulous and the detail crisp.
I wonder how you find the focussing using the EVF - reason I ask is that I really struggle with the Olympus C8080 in Super macro and manual focus !

Great photo and perfect for the project.

Best wishes,
Steve

Hi Jim! Oh so many lovely photos you have taken this summer! What a beautiful colourful portfolio! Sorry for my late reply, it's the TIME that doesn't want to agree with me! I need more of it, but it's to greedy! ;-)

What a great capture of this "cute & ugly at same time" - thing! Very good details and colours!

Supermacro mode... I wonder if that is big difference from G5 macro mode...

Wow, this just jumps right out at you. A great image. So sharp. You must be very steady. I think the blue sky is what makes this picture so effective. Don.
