I agree with Laura - great use of bright colors and selective DOF to bring them out.
I also like the message of your photo. It's true. When I lived and worked in Manhattan in the late 70's, I would walk to work and hear conversations in several different on the way to the office. Then I would get in the elevator (a beautiful 50-story Art-Deco tower in midtown) and hear a few more languages on the way up the the 14th floor.
In my own group little in the office, we had wonderful people from Greece, Columbia, Puerto Rico, Roumania, Italy, Argentina, and Guatemala (at least - this is just what I can remember from 20+ years ago.) -- and the best thing is that they were all Americans, too! They had all become citizens, or were in the process of achieving citizenship, bringing all of the best parts of their backgrounds and cultures with them as their contribution to life in NYC.
