Nice execution of a very tough exposure, and very original! A little explanation of what's happening would add a lot, though. Could you have taken the photo from a lower angle to lessen the space? That's only a minor issue, I think it's a great photo.

good focusing choice - i think it would be less effective if you focused on the dog instead of the man...and the medium telephoto provides a wonderful perspective for this image...
