About I was walking down a main street of Leon (northern spain in the Meseta, west of Burgos), and looked down a side street. At the other end of was a completely empty and somewhat desolate square, with this man quietly reading the paper by himself. This is what Spanish Siesta is really, taking it easy during the hot part of the day.
