This is a wonderful use of the vertical landscape format Chris-- the thumbnail certainly doesn't do it justice. I often refer to the technique you've used in this photo as "layering", and from foreground to background I count seven "layers of interest".

This is one of the best examples I've ever seen of layering, and it's going into my favorites. Layering only works well when the layers integrate well, and this one does. An excellent photograph my friend-- my congratulations. Cheers. Craig
