Thanks for the comments - more in the series to come. Since it worked reasonably well maybe I should "set up" some shots like this.

i like this shot a lot.
the subdued colors and lines are fantastic.

in my humble opinion, i think the image could be improved in a few ways:

firstly, if given the opportunity to retake the shot, i think the 4 brighter squares in the bottom area could be included in their entirety-would just give the image a more 'complete' look.
second, by cropping the right edge of the image a tad, you'd eliminate the two distractions in the upper and lower corners.

anyways, it is a wonderful shot as is, i just think it may have a bit more impact with a few changes in the details. bravo!
