You changed your photo on your page, didn't you, John?
I find your "Strechhhhh" vey compelling. Its colors are vivid, the coposition actuaslly pulls the eye along the photo, the dof is excellent and black background makes the leaves stand out.
Thank you for your understanding comment on my "Theme". It is indeed on of those straws children like to drink through, although I also had a grown up patient who, in regression, insisted on drinking the same way.

John, I like this. It works well-the lighting especially creates a cool atmosphere and depth. Speaking of depth-the depth of field is great the way it seperates the leaves from the background.
I'd call this-deceptively simple. At first glance it's just some leaves, but it's really not...

My oh my this is beautiful, a really well balanced composition. I love the variety of colours that give off such a glorious 'glow'. The angle you have taken it from makes me want to bent down more and just look up at those leaves, with all those little spiky edges.

I can almost see it streching!
I really like the back light, it made the leaves look translucid. The dark background is perfect to give projectio to the main subject. The only thing I colud ask for is a little more sharpness.
You did a really good work!!
