I sort of holgarized it, though i really can't approximate that look in ps. I didn't like the centering was a big thing, but that holga look seems to work better with centered images and I was trying to avoid cropping it.

You know what is interesting about this fabulous portrait? Even though you chose a decidedly square framing (good choice), there is a distinct vertical feeling to it. The eye is directed up the center of his shirt, straight up the ridge of his nose, and almost up the directional spiking of his hair.
The lighting as well as this strong vertical alignment pulls the viewers attention right to the subject's eyes.
One thing I have come to admire about your portrait work is how the subject/model has a candid and direct gaze right at the camera. You must do a remarkable job of making people feel comfortable.
Great job.
