I really like the compsition with great DOF. I do agree with the lack of sharpness but it could be from scanner problems. This shot would also look great at night. Keep up the good work.
Beautiful color and focus. It couldn't be sharper. I'm not sure your subject, the Turkish flag, is really the center of attention. Personally, I think I'd crop this shot to make the right edge of the building bearing he flag and turn it to a vertical. That's only my opinion. Your photo is perfect like it is, if the subject were the skyline, or the pier. The composition is beautiful.
