Fortunately my "Sparrow" was not aware of his photo being taken, otherwise he would have spread his wings and disappeared. Thanks, though, Ade, for comenting on the photo. Regards, Rafi

Thank you, my friend Roby, for your lovely comment on my "Sparrow". I did not quite understand what you meant, but I can assure you that this sparrow was adult and free. Reggards, Rafi

Thank you for you comment on my "Sparrow", Steve. We hear that they, and other small birds are getting rare here also, and we hear that they are being killed of by ravens. Perhaps it is the same in the UK. Regards, Rafi

Thank you for your idiosyncratic comment on my "Sparrow" All the jokes concerning the killing the Dead Sea have already been told, but you may not have heard the two following. 1.A man was seen fishing in the Dead Sea. When asked was he was fishing, he answered that he was fishing salted herrings. 2. Most menial work in Israel is now done by foreign labor, such as Chinese ot Thailandian workers. So a father was walking with his son in Tel Aviv and showed him: "You see this building? when I was young I built it. You see this bridge? when I was young I built it" etc. So the son asks: "Daddy, when you were young, were you Chinese?" Shalom and Saludas, Rafi

Wonderful image with great clarity and lighting, my only critisism is the amount of negative space around the main focal point.(The Sparrow) IMHO it may have been improve if the image had been cropped maybe to a portrait mode and the sparrow placed center, looking out.
Kindest regards.
Phil

Great capture Rafi, this is really sharp and lovely detail. It is strange, the sparrow is becoming rarer and rarer in the UK as of recent years - nobody seems to know why !! This little fellow looks well and in great condition :-) Best wishes, Steve
