the essence of this effect is to convert the original color image into b&w. then overlay the color layer onto it.

Fantastic image.I really like the way you captured the impending danger of a hurricane.The shadows become so intense and the colours are vivid and sometimes scary.The model looks so purposeless , there , lost in her thoughts...
