About Following Jeanette's and Alexandru's sugestions, I post a new version of this image. Thanks a lot.

So, this is the "official" Dracula's Castle, situated at Bran, near Brasov (formerly known as Kronstadt). The castle was built for strategic defence purposes but it was mostly used as a custom for the traders. It didn't really belong to Vlad The Impaler (Dracula), he only spent a few days here as a prisoner.

I mixed 2 shots, made in the same day at the same location, during and after the rain. PS postprocessing for color, lights and contrast. The sky was shot in contre-jour using a polarisation filter.

It's very scary! any photo that transmits so much emotion must be rated as 7. but still the central tower and the one below it have strange windows.
It is a very lovely castle but I don't like the whole dracula advertising, and I guess it is cozy to.

Thank you Omar, indeed it is a beautiful castle, even if it didn't belong to Dracula. Also, it is not scarry at all, when entering it you find a very intimate place to live in.

Kind Regards,

Florin

Nice image
I would use an adjustment layer after merging other layers and make it look more realistic, but still I like it!

Thank you Paula. Indeed, it is a place and a region that worth to be visited. But.. I suggest you not to cross the mountains :)

Great site you have, and impressive list of activities. I failed in my attempts to move and work in Budapest or London... I love both cities, exactly in the mentioned order :)

Kind Regards,

Florin
