LOL, I'll try it sometime. I have had some close encounters with these creatures. One got on my finger one time, latched on and wouldn't let go for the life of him. I was so worried he was going to bite me.

Excellent capture Jim, wonderful colours and super detail - here is something to think about for your next capture ...
Get very close to the praying mantis so it can see its own reflection in the lens .... then see what happens !!!
I unwittingly did this when I was trying to overcome a phobia with them ... it was quite startling when it ran up my arm, climbed up the side of my face, my ear and sat on top of my head.
Fear certainly went after that lol
