Roger, sorry for answering so late, have missed your comment somehow. It's not orange filter but pol. The "overdone" toning is intentive, a part of the concept, but my wife doesn't like it either ! :-)) Thanks for looking !

The polariser gives an almost IR effect and the tone is perfect!

Thanks for looking, Antonella. The filter is fine, what your sharp eagle eyes see is that I burned in the rocks a bit, they were simply too bright ! Unnatural this may look but so is the whole photo. Nothing by chance, all by intention, made to feed a certain imagination of a hot glowing hazy day at the river shore.

Very beautiful perspective,Bertram, though I find ( I might be wrong ) that the filter kills a bit the highlights. In fact, the rocks in the foreground IMO have an unnatural grey cast. Eventually you might try to enhance them by going to " selective colors " in PS - White - ( from the dropdown menu ) move the slider to your left. If you're still not happy and want to remove the grey choose the " Neutral ". Otherwise very beautiful! Regards, Antonella

Thanks for looking, Khaled ! It's not only the filter, the photo is seriously manipulated (or "post-processed" as this is called now) by PS anyway.

Thanks for looking ,Roger ! This kind of toning isn't my standard style either, you know, it's just a bit experimenting with the new learned PS lessons :-) AND I am seriously influenced by a certain J.E.R. and a bit of the vintage prints of Loris ;-) Sometimes I ask myself how long it will take 'til my deep-blue period starts !!!! Feel I am quite near to it , shiver !!

Nice composition, The polarizer filter slightly dims the photo, it makes it a little bit dark. Good shot.

Another in your series of orange-filter shots, perhaps? It's nice to see the Nokton again after all those Jupiter shots... I prefer the sepia toning a little less strong than this, but then I get people saying "It doesn't look sepia!" [grin]
