Freakin' moody. I like the dark overtones and the sweeping sky. I think Texas is working to your advantage - you have broader skies. In eastern Kansas shooting the farms is turning out to be highly problematic - trees are everywhere and were planted around the property as windbreaks. I can't get the drama that you seem to be able to capture.
Have you tried a little +7 to +13 push on the saturation? Might just tweak up the color a bit. Might ruin the mood though.

Very good use of your canvas Carol. I like the placement of the shack in relationship to that sky. The lower viewpoint is vey effective. Regards John

A great capture of this abandoned house with the threatening weather looming over it, which makes me think the harsh climate may at least be partially responsible for this place being vacant.

Great find this lovely old farm house, the sky and light are terrific, enhancing the isolated feel of the building.

Hi Carol - the light is fantastic in this composition, dividing the sky into 2 levels and still keeping the old house in what I would call a divine light. This capture has an outstanding atmosphere!! Ivan
