Hello Teunis,
I am back home in Dublin. Reached safely. I enjoyed my trip very very much. You, your wife and Bianka were wonderful.
The old and quiant windmills, often surrounded by horses or sheeps, were fabulous and captivating. The below-sea level flatlands of Groningen with its network of canals and dykes were pleasing. Large swans and geese were realy heartening to see so up close. You are a lucky man to live in such a beautiful part of the country. And we are lucky to see your amazing images of Groningen.
Hope I could visit again some other time and spend few days taking photos.

In your "Proud family" you present the incarnation of "The ugly duckling". The two beautiful, white swans lead, followed by their gray offsprings. The reflections add to the photo and the diagonal composition is perfect.
