About Another early attempt of mine which I realise now could have been better exposed and better balanced but nevertheless I still like it's simplicity. Please feel free to leave comments as I am only just starting out and would appreciate the advise.

Not at all Andrew, I really appreciate your feedback. I have recently adjusted this image in PS and will repost it in the next few days for you to have a look.

Cheers,

Pete

I like the composition in this shot, maybe i would of cropped out the little wave on the bottom left, and brightened up the lady maybe with curves or levels adjustment, and straightened the horizon. But hey im just a beginner also so i cant really pick on faults.... i should sort my own out first :)

Hi Pete, i agree with Guido and would go for maybe a letterbox crop with a little more contrast. The hairs (in the sea) are a little distracting.

How about superimposing a seagul carrying a wig just flying off? ) Would raise a smile that's for sure.
You just need to go out and snap a seagul carrying a wig.. Easy.

Hi and thanks again! I've only had my camera a few months and so I'm very much a beginner and therefore I really appreciate your comments, glad you like it.

Hi Pete!
In my opinion, this is a good picture, I think it would be better with some more sea and less sky (there are no clouds, so it looks a little "flat")... oh, and be careful at the dust on your scanner ;-) ... now I go to tell you something on your other picture: "El castillo"...
