About I watched this scene for a while and thought that a light snowfall would add to this image. This particular day was the snowfall that I was looking for. When I got to the scene and started shooting, it was heavily overcast, making a dull image. All of a sudden the sun's rays fell on the barn and I was able to get off about 6 exposures when the light faded, never to return on this evening. Sometimes you just get lucky!

W. Paul -- this is really terrific - the contrast of the dark barn against the white snow - the nostalgic feel of the entire scene - very friendly American kinda' feeling -- Debby

Very nice. The sun?s rays really brought out the detail and added that warming feeling we all like. Good job having the patience to wait for the one time shot. If I remember right this happened to Ansel Adams on one of his famous photos. He only had a few seconds to make the shot. Good title too. John
