I like the tonal range of the picture Thomas but agree with Hugo about the splash of red at the bottom of the frame. Maybe a lower viewpoint to bring the flowers higher in the frame and a little less watery mid ground would balance the composition. Still a fine effort and worthy of being a featured image. Hi Thomas Great clarity and tones. The closed composition by adding the flowers below is very creative, and a very clever solution. Excellent use of contrasting colours in respect with the greens of the water, too. My only concern is that the strip of flowers below is relatively thin compared to the way you placed the backgroun scenery in the composition. I think including a wider strip of flowers below could've created some more balance. An other option would be to closely compose / crop the mountains in the background. Nevertheless, I really like this shot. Great tones, and a very creative solution, definately taking this photo out of the ordinary.
