Hi Rafi! The COLOURS and lighting are really what makes this image IMO, and the composition is good as well. Nice to see this old lady enjoying the sea, sand and sun!

Dear Maja
The Day of Atonment is a day Jews repent their sins, the religious ones fast for 24 hours and pray for their sins to be forgiven. I don't fast because I'm not religious, not that I don't have sins I should repent, but I honor the day in my own way. It is the quietest day of the year, as there are no cars on the streets except in an emergency and the children are free to ride their bicycles safely.
In 1973 the Egyptians, and the Syrians suddenly simultaneousely attacked us from the north and from the south on that day. Fortunately, most people being in synagogues or at home, it was relatively easy to mobilize our reserves and after a war of about three weeks, in which we lost about 2800 killed, we beat both armies back. At that time I was already too old to serve in the field and I was in command of a rehabilitation center for psychiatric casualties.
