Thanks so much for that comment lol.. Trust me, mine are not always so sharp. I don't post them if they're not! But I take my share of bad ones. One of these days I'm going to get a film camera that's auto focus, and a digital SLR ( if I ever win the lottery, that is).

The sharp detail in your work always facinates me! Is that the camera, the photoshop or just you? The tones (once again)are beautiful...has that old fashioned feeling i love.

I think yours is better because of the darker background. I find Jeff's lightening of the mountain a distraction. This is so good. And what a great title. Superlatives aren't superlative enough to describe this.

It really stands out great! =) I agree with Zeev.. almost looks like IR! Great composition and depth.. great tones and light! I like it!

Rebecca, the gray tones seem a little muted especially on the lone tree so it doesn't stand out that well - at least on my monitor. Attached is your photo tweaked with levels tool in photoshop. I adjusted it to kick up the highlights while maintaining the shadows.
