You did it again. Such luck to study the world from your window... a scene going on out there.

:)

Very alone indeed ... I love the empty space around this woman. I still think you should not hang outside the window so much; instead you should go bravely out on the streets of Halmstad ;-) Keep up the good work Patrick!

Another great one in this series. ANd, just as she passed the sign, she'll face the open road with grit and determination. :)

Hi Patrick,

I realy like the emptyness here. And those lines on the curve really give a nice flow to the photo.

There is something not working here though and my guess is that it is the rotation of the camera. Had the camera been a bit rotated counter-clockwise and the human figure would stand out as a key element and not compete so much with those trees in the upper right corner.

The issue here is not the graphical quality of the lady or the pavement (as in the other photos from the sequence) but that feeling of emptyness highlighted by the presence of the human figure.
I've just seen the others and they work extremely well, especially the 'old lady and the sign'. I don't think it is the case in this one.
That skewed perspective doesn't let us perceive that figure as human and those trees diminish its weight in the composition.

I don't know however what is not in the photo and you had to keep out. I figure this is a crop so I would really like to see the rest.
I added a rotated version so you could see what I'm trying to explain. Hope it makes sense! :)

Best regards and congrats for this great sequence,

Sérgio
