Thanks Jim for your kind comments.
If you ever come back to Sydney let me know.

I did have a look at big version of your beautiful flower in your portfolio.

Cheers,
Ben

Very creative picture. I like the juxtaposition of the brightly colored lanterns in the forground and the Sydney Harbor Bridge in the bridge in the background. An outstanding shot.

It took me a minute to recognize the Sydney Harbor Bridge. Brings back great memories - my wife and I were in Sydney in the Autumn of 2002. A truly memorable visit.

I also want to thank you for the congratulations on my shot taking Best Color Photograph. The image itself is in my portfolio if you care to see the shot in detail.

my god, clever:))
mum is speaking now; cooking rice. you are humiliating my meals. it is basmati rice-not an ordinary one- from our nicest fields. bring me the ingredients for my special "Baked Lemon'n'Spice Basmati" for the weekend, son. then you see there won't be any sisters or brothers around. and, my son, don't forget to ask to invite Mr Mok(should I say Mr Ben:)) for the special basmati rice dinner.

Umur, you are kidding me. Which family are you from? Are you from Indonesia?
I remember those beautiful days we were out in the field, just sitting on our asses all day, doing nothing, watching those beautiful cows eating grass, dreaming about them....Sorry Mok for invading your site...Where was I? It is a blast bumping into someone who lived in 'icinden' (a city of Indonesia). My mom was cooking rice day after day, my 8 brothers and 5 sisters were fighting over it every meal. Ahhhh, I will never forget those days. I have to thank Mr. Mok for that. Thank you Mr. Mok
Umur where are you now? Let's have a dinner together, eat something different. I know an Indonesian restaurant. Call me...I mean send me an e-mail.
Thank you Mr. Mok

Thanks Murat & Umur for your kind comments.
For an arts point of view this is not probably the greatest shot but I am pretty please with the quality given the limits of this camera.
Regards,
Ben
