The light here is so beuatiful.. it sculpts the tree so nicely, highlighting the green-ness of the moss and the deepness of the shadows.
I also like the use of the diagonal line of the tree as it adds more power to the image.
Was this shot on the coast or on Vancouver Island?

Great composition, captures the feeling of being deep in a dense forest, and then coming upon a shaft of light, which show up the textures and details of the vine
