Great point as well, and thank you for it. You know we just need many bodies (camera bodies)and many digital ones and many kinds of film - hmm a prayer to the camera gods this evening for all of us. The D-70 is great BUT cannon has just countered it with a new 8MP camera and the D-70 with ultimatly be replaced very shortly (I guess) in response to the 2 000 000 pixel advantage with the cannon. Think the D-70 is better overall and I have had one to test - but people in the prosumer market without tonnes of cash may wait. Hmm, money - camera gods, off to bed.
Thanks a million for the response, thoughtful

You caught the perfect moment, Stephen.
As to the grain, mentioned by Kevin, my answer to low light conditions has alway been to use the fastest lens possible - a 50mm F1.2 works well with 400 speed film for ballet performances.
I am just learning about digital now with a point and shoot, but a friend is crazy about fast lenses with the D70.
Peace, Leora

Thanks cant have it all hey. The grain is from the 800 iso film I suspect - which I had to use for the low lighting conditions. But thanks for commenting and it is a problem in such situations so if you know of any tricks I'm all ears. You make good points, and thanks for that.

Great composition, love how you offset her as it shows us her direction. lso the DOF is bang on with great lighting. It's too bad the picture is a little grainy. Keep up the good work.
