Hi Thilo,Du hast völlig recht,den oberen Bereich hätte ich weglassen können...aber ich hab mir nun mal ein quadratisches Format eingebildet,und da wäre dann zu wenig übriggeblieben.Sonst wäre die Hornisse genau in die Mitte gerückt ..:(

Hi Ursula,
sehr gelungenes Makro, wie ich finde. die tiefenschärfe kommt sehr gut, man könnte sich höchstens mal überlegen, ob der bereich oben so wichtig ist =)
wirklich gut, und 155 hits sprechen für sich. klasse.

Hallo Ursula, mir gefällt das quadratische Format sehr gut hier, es ist auch nicht zu groß, ich schätze 800x800Pixel, somit kommt das Macro u. DOF besser zur Geltung. Super die Macroaufnahme!

Hi Ursula, The shallow DOF is very nice in creating a very good depth and in emphasising the low camera position. I'd think the impact of the image could've been a tad stronger if the entire hornet would've been as sharp as it's head. The high level of detail and texures in the hornet and around it is impressive. Great shot, and very strong tones. Very well composed, too.

Hi Brad,this isn't a bee...this is a hornet!And in fact very agressive,and I was really close to it...but it was seemingly drunk or nearly dead :(

There is incredible detail here, Ursula! The colors and saturation levels are perfect, and the limited DOF is unavoidable when this close up. Bees make excellent subjects, as they often are slow movers, and rarely become aggressive. Very nice work! ...Brad
