Wow Purple? I can't beleive it, but I'll take your word for it. Since your were able to comment on my Brown Silk Hibiscus you're not dead. Beautiful Photograph Alison, Great colors and clarity. Very well presented.

I have another bloom this morning on the Hibiscus and the one I took is still open. Most of the time they are a one day bloom...

Thanks for sharing? Thanks again for a wonderful comment.

(creo)

Hi Alison, nice capture for this new cauliflower. That's what we get from genetic engineering!!! and as you said, we hope that genetic engineering and man's interference with everything in life doesn't bring an end to the human being ....Thanx for sharing....kind regards.

Garish colour, very in-your-face (modern life is rubbish!). I'd say the image would have benefitted with a stop less exposure as the leaf highlights are blown. The purple would have been even deeper then. Amazing how digital cameras can get so close up.

alison this is so strange thing to take a makro image it is so impressive and the colors is also s oimpressive but for a small recommendation you could find a better frame with that purple thing and their leaf...I mean only that leafs disturb me in this image but other things are perfect congrats...

And I was just going to yell at you for overusing Photoshop. This is amazing. I hope you have a lot of self portraits so you can do a before and after series and show us what happened.
