Just returned from my diving holidays. Lanzarote is a tiny little island off the west coast of Africa just besides Morraco. Very popular holiday destination among western europeans.
Its an amazing island for its volcanic landscape. The hole island is black from the past multiple erruptions from 3 major volcanoes. No greens what so ever except palm trees and cactus even though its not a desert.
It belongs to Spain from its colonial past. Lanzarote is one of the 5 small islands of Canary islands.
The houses are very much like in Moroco, flated topped single storied houses with large windows for ventilation, painted in bright white.
Great place for scuba diving. Crystal clear waters and beautiful underwater colors and life.
