About The old bridge and the new bridge coming into town. The old bridge is now just a foot bridge. Right behind me is a third bridge used for trains.

Hi Judi, I'm back again, i Haven't had a computer for about 10 days so can only upload anything I have on my card, so a bit restrictec, and of course can only get at Den's computer when he is not on it. That is why I started my comment and then left off - anyway I do like this, the contrast of old and new is really good.

Yes you are right Florin. But they lack the attraction that the old always has.

Den, the comparison between the two is quite bizarre. The new bridge looks so boring and dull, while the old bridge has so much character and is enjoyed my many as a footbridge. The third bridge which is only about 10 metres from these two is made from concrete. Very tall and out of the way, so just seems to say, leave me alone in it's own way.

Beautiful image, indeed the result of using the great Zeiss lens. Also great ideea and composition, the ethernal fight between new and old. Unfortunately always the new wins, which is not always the right choice.

kisses,

Florin

What a stark comparison Judi. The old bridge seems full of character but the new one is totally lacking. I wonder what the rail bridge is like, maybe a steel structure?
